Health Guarantee!

Initial Veterinary Examination

All kittens purchased from Empire Farm Cattery are covered by a One (1) Year Health Guarantee

against life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects. The buyer must have the kitten examined by

a licensed veterinarian within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

If within this 14-day period a veterinarian determines the kitten is clinically ill or has died due to an

illness or injury present prior to sale, the buyer may choose one of the following:

• Return the kitten for a full refund of the purchase price.
• Return the kitten for a replacement kitten of equal value (when available).
• Retain the kitten and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary expenses not exceeding the original purchase price.

Empire Farm Cattery reserves the right to require a second veterinary opinion prior to issuing any

refund, replacement, or reimbursement. This guarantee does not apply to conditions disclosed in

writing at the time of sale.

Congenital or Hereditary Defects

If within one (1) year of purchase a licensed veterinarian certifies in writing that the kitten has a

life-threatening congenital or hereditary defect, or death results from such defect, the buyer is entitled

to the same options listed above. Written veterinary documentation is required.

Notification & Exclusions

The buyer must notify Empire Farm Cattery within two (2) business days of receiving written

veterinary certification. This guarantee does not cover routine or preventative care, minor conditions,

parasites, stress-related illness after transfer, environmental factors, neglect, accident, abuse, or

failure to follow veterinary advice. This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original

purchaser.
